Crazy Science is designed to do much more than entertain. Our programs build confidence, curiosity, emotional connection to learning, and a sense of joy, especially for children who may struggle in traditional classroom settings.
Through our interactive science shows:

For families, Crazy Science creates meaningful shared experiences. Parents see their children become excited about learning, proud of their curiosity, and more confident in their abilities. For many families—especially in underserved communities—our programs provide access to high-quality STEM experiences that might otherwise be unavailable.
Founder's Story
Crazy Science was founded in 2017 in New York by Anna Telminova. Hailing from Russia, Anna is a lawyer by education, but upon arriving in the U.S., she started from scratch.
At the age of 27, Anna came up with the idea of doing science shows for kids, and it sparked her passion. Her budget was very limited — she lived in a basement and bought the cheapest eggs from the supermarket. She took pictures of science experiments from Google, loaded them onto her iPhone, and started walking from school to school. It took dozens of emails, rainy days of visiting schools, and many phone calls to get her first client — a school in Brooklyn called Big Apple Academy. She had only one month to officially register the company, purchase the necessary equipment from Steve Spangler, and hire a performer who could speak both Russian and English. It was a huge risk — choosing between paying rent or being fully prepared for the first Crazy Science presentation. Then word of mouth, along with people who knew her as a music teacher, began to spread the word about Crazy Science.
Today, Crazy Science
Is a strong and expanding community of moms, dads, Off-Broadway performers, educators, and young specialists who share their energy, professionalism, and passion for inspiring children through science. Every person in our company plays an essential role in the system we have built together. Because of our people, our quality standards, and our reputation, Crazy Science is now one of the largest kids’ science education and entertainment companies in the New York market.
For schools and community organizations, Crazy Science serves as a trusted educational partner. Our curriculum-aligned programs support classroom learning, enhance school events, and increase engagement while maintaining high educational standards. We proudly work with special needs centers, libraries, museums, parks, public schools, and private daycares across New York. Crazy Science is approved by the Department of Education as an official vendor, our curriculum is aligned with the NYC public school program, and we are certified by NYC and NYS SBS as a Minority- and Woman-Owned Business.
Giving back to the Community
Giving back is a core part of my personal values and our company culture. Crazy Science regularly provides free public science presentations in schools and community spaces, supports special needs programs, and partners with schools to help them run fundraising and community events. These efforts allow us to reach families who may not otherwise have access to enrichment education.
I strongly believe that every child deserves access to inspiring, joyful, and empowering science education, regardless of background or income. That belief continues to guide our decisions and our growth. Crazy Science continues to scale, and I am open to strategic, mission aligned investors and partners who share our commitment to education, community impact, and building a stronger future for the next generation.
