What to Know
Frequently Asked Questions
Q: What is the Crazy Science Show?
A: The Crazy Science Show is a live, interactive science performance for kids where fun and learning happen at the same time. We set up a mini science lab on-site and demonstrate basic laws of physics and chemistry through exciting experiments. Every child gets to participate. It’s a great option for birthday parties if you want something new, engaging, and memorable.
Q: What do you discover and experiment with?
A: We experiment with light, color, electricity, and gravity. Some of our favorite materials are dry ice and liquid nitrogen because they create amazing reactions and “scientific wonders.” During the show, objects fly, lightning appears in the room, and soap bubbles don’t burst.
Kids also love making cotton candy themselves. We explore glow-in-the-dark experiments, polymers, optical illusions, and colorful chemical reactions. Children can create super jelly, miracle worms, and slime with their own hands.
Q: Will children get bored?
A: Not a chance! Our hosts are professionals who engage every child, and the show is fully interactive. Each child takes part in the experiments and feels like a real scientist (or a little wizard). Kids get to make smoke, use a laser effect, create a soap volcano, and watch a Coca-Cola geyser erupt. It’s science, discovery, and nonstop fun.
Q: Is it safe?
A: Yes. All experiments are supervised by trained specialists and are completely safe. Children just need to follow simple rules, like not touching props or materials without permission. We never use harmful, flammable, toxic, poisonous, or aggressive substances.
Q: What age is the show suitable for?
A: The show is great for children ages 3 to 16. We tailor experiments to different age groups, including ages 4, 5, 6, 7, and up.
Q: Is my child too young for the show?
A: We love introducing science to little ones. Kids as young as 3 enjoy the bright, energetic show and colorful experiments.
For children ages 2 to 3, we recommend parents stay nearby to help them feel comfortable meeting the Professor and exploring their first science experiences.
Q: Is my child too old for the show?
A: Not at all. We adjust each show based on the age group. Older kids get more in-depth explanations of physics, chemistry, and natural sciences, with experiments suited for their level.
If your child is under 16, we promise they’ll be engaged, and adults are usually surprised by how fun it is too.
Q: Will it make a mess? Do kids get dirty?
A: Nope. We’re careful about cleanliness. If the Professor makes a mess during the show, everything gets cleaned up afterward. Kids stay clean, and the space looks the same as before the show.
Q: How does the show work?
Our Professor arrives about 30 minutes early with all equipment.
Setup takes just a table and access to hot water (or a kettle).
The interactive science show begins, and the birthday child becomes the main assistant.
After the show, we pack up and clean the area.
You receive a Club Card, and we head out until the next visit.
Q: Who are your Professors?
A: All of our Professors have acting backgrounds and experience working with children ages 3 to 16. Each one completes three months of training at the Crazy Science Laboratory. Kids quickly connect with them, and parents usually do too.
Q: How long does the show last?
A: The base show lasts 45 minutes, with optional add-ons. You can add 15 minutes for miracle worms, 20 minutes for making cotton candy, or choose from over 15 extra experiments. You can customize your experience using our Smart Calculator.
Q: Can you come to our home or a café?
A: Yes. We travel to homes, apartments, cafés, schools, kindergartens, and outdoor locations. All we need is a table and access to hot water. School science events are no problem either.
Q: Can kids eat what’s made during the experiments?
A: Not everything is edible. For example, artificial “snow” is safe but not meant to be eaten. Cotton candy, however, is made to be enjoyed by everyone.
Q: We have a small apartment/classroom. Is that okay?
A: Totally fine. We only need a table and a little space in front of it. As long as kids can sit comfortably and see the table, the show works great.
Q: How many children can attend the show?
A: We can perform for any group size, from one child to several dozen. Most shows are for groups of 5 to 20 kids. For groups of 30 or more, we offer a special large-audience program. We regularly perform at schools, camps, shopping centers, and community spaces.
